FYI, this is a reminder to nominate your Students, or invite them to APPLY NOW, to Sc3  http://www.greenschoolsalliance.org/students/student-climate-conservation-congress-sc3 .  Regarded by most as "a life-changing week," Sc3 2013 will again host world-renown experts -- like Carl Safina, Barry Lopez, Dr. Sylvia Earle and others.  Student and Faculty Fellows, Speakers and FWS conservationists, live and learn alongside one other on the fabled NCTC campus (see more below). NEW: COMMUNITY SERVICE CREDIT to be offered.

The Green Schools Alliance (GSA) in collaboration with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is accepting applications and nominations for the 2013 Student Climate & Conservation Congress (Sc3), the nation's premier week-long environmental leadership training program scheduled for June 23 - 29, 2013.  All students entering 9-12th grade, and a limited number of school faculty or staff, who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their schools or communities are invited to apply to become a U.S. Green School Fellow and attend this extraordinary event at the nation's state-of-the-art training facility, the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV, just outside DC.  The mission of Sc3 is to empower outstanding student environmental leaders with the skills, knowledge and tools necessary to address natural resource challenges and better serve their schools and communities.  Additional information and application available at: http://www.greenschoolsalliance.org/students/student-climate-conservation-congress-sc3
