Below, something a little different: For the first time, we’re posting a piece by a student instead of a teacher. Perhaps it will inspire your students to write in?
Preston R. Michelson, now a college student studying journalism at Northwestern University, interviews his former high school teacher and journalism adviser, David Cutler, to write about how he created an online newspaper at their Florida high school, and how the staff there used The Times as inspiration for experiments in reporting and multimedia.
